We highlight a young man who turned childhood play fights with his dad into a serious boxing career. Starting at age 11, Dustin "El Gallo" Jimenez trained tirelessly despite limited opportunities at Greece Athena High School. With support from Jake Bishop and his organization, the Black Hand Company, Dustin is now heading to the Paris Olympics training camp. Dustin's father and trainer, Jason Jimenez, has been a pivotal figure in his journey.

Ancient Rome: Emperors like Nero and Caligula exhibited corruption and moral decadence.
The Soviet Union: Joseph Stalin's regime was marked by purges and totalitarian rule.
Nazi Germany: Adolf Hitler's absolute control led to the Holocaust and World War II.
Reasons for Maintaining Power:
Fear of Retribution: Leaders fear punishment for past abuses.
Loss of Privilege: Power provides personal benefits such as wealth and status.
Ideological Commitment: Leaders believe their rule is essential for the nation's future.
Psychological Addiction: Power can be addictive.
Political Survival: Losing power can mean political oblivion.
Methods of Maintaining Power:
Manipulating Elections: Rigging and suppressing voter turnout.
Silencing Opposition: Marginalizing or eliminating political opponents.
Control of Information: Media control and propaganda.
Legal Manipulation: Changing laws to extend terms in office.
Violence and Intimidation: Using force to intimidate opponents.
Psychological Insights:

The importance of education cannot be overstated. It has been the cornerstone of our society, driving economic growth by equipping individuals with the skills they need for employment and entrepreneurship. Education has promoted technological advancement and innovation, paving the way for a prosperous future. Parental involvement has played a crucial role in supporting students' academic achievements and personal development.
However, it was not just about economics. Education has played a vital role in social responsibility, providing equal opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their background. It has fostered social inclusion and mobility, and reduced inequalities by empowering marginalized groups and promoting gender equality. Here, too, parental involvement has been essential in ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Education has also preserved and evolved our cultural heritage, transmitting values across generations and encouraging an appreciation for diversity and global interconnectedness. Parental engagement had helped pass down these cultural values and foster a sense of community. It had been a key player in sustainable development, educating individuals about environmental issues and preparing them to tackle challenges and resource management. Parents are the leaders in instilling sustainable practices at home.
As we headed to the polls, we were not just choosing school board members; we were shaping the future of our community. Parental involvement in the electoral process was vital to ensuring the right leaders were chosen. Throughout the show, we discussed key issues, including the critical role of parental involvement, and provided you with all the information you needed to make an informed decision.
